“Reign of the Dinosaurs” – VFX COORDINATOR at Creative Differences/ Discovery Channel (November 2010 – Current)

Reign of the Dinosaurs is being produced by Creative Differences for Discovery Channel.  Destined to reset the benchmark previously set by Discovery’s WALKING WITH DINOSAURS for dinosaur natural history programming, REIGN OF THE DINOSAURS combines the latest paleontological research with Hollywood storytelling and the talent of the world’s best dinosaur illustrators and animators.  In the series, new creatures like giant dinos with Freddy Krueger-style clawed hands, a Jurassic flying squirrel, pygmy T-Rex and frogs so big they can eat dinosaurs, are combined with the latest understanding of dinosaur behaviors.

Story Assistant for “Tiger Man of Africa”, a show series about wild tigers in South Africa by Creative Differences for National Geographic network.

“Portrait of a Gun Enthusiast” – Video Journalist  at VJMOVEMENT (April 2011)

Produced, directed, edited and shot the special report about guns for the VJMOVEMENT site.

A Mexican Toy Story (Spring 2010)

Mexico Reporting Project at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.

Directed, produced, shot and edited the 9-min short documentary about a Mexican toy collector and his Antique Toy Museum in Mexico City. Published on SFGate.com and  Missionlocal.org on March 6th 2010.

Associate producer in “Times of Crisis. The Year of Global Change.” This multimedia piece is a  Mediastorm production for Thomson Reuters. In-depth multimedia charting the year of global upheaval following the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Utopia 79 -2007, Frame Zero Productions and the Catalan Television Broadcasting (TVC)

Director’s first assistant for 95-minute documentary shot in Nicaragua about the Sandinista revolution and its effects.

Responsible for shot planning, interviews and management of archival footage.

Airs on TVC in 2009. Premieres May 19, 2009 in Spain Cinema Halls.

Selected for the Sao Paulo International Film Festival, Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México (DOCSDF).

Je Ne Suis Pas Moi Meme -2006, Nanouk Films S.L. and Catalan Television Broadcasting (TVC)

Directed, wrote and produced 57-minute documentary shot in Cameroon about African art trafficking.

Aired on TVC on December 11, 2007.

MIMU -2005

Conceived, co-directed, co-produced, and edited the audio-visual expression workshop with groups of immigrant teenagers in Barcelona and Vienna. Through the project a group of young boys from Morocco living in Barcelona and a group of Turkish and from the ex-Yugoslavia in Vienna were introduced to audio-visual language and how to use the camera to express themselves and show their own reality.

Trained immigrant teenagers involved in the participatory video workshop in Austria and Spain.

Aired on TVE Televisión Española on April 28, 2005 in “Gran Angular” slot.

Memories Without Rememberers. The Lanjia Sora Tribe of Eastern India -2004

Directed, wrote and produced documentary thesis film about the disappearing shamanic rituals of the Lanjia Sora tribe after the arrival of the Christian missionaries in Orissa.

Aired on TVC on January 28, 2005.
